I'm Lindsey Gardner-Penner.
As a mental health and wellness coach, living with a history of anxiety and depression, I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to start or knowing where to turn. I get it! I've been there!
My mission is simple: give clients the strategies, tools, and resources to help live a better, fuller, life. My goal is to help others find within themselves their own sense of empowerment, their own ways to feel happy, to feel mentally and physically strong, and to feel capable of managing all of life’s stresses that will inevitably happen.

I get your struggle!
I have suffered from atypical depression and an anxiety disorder for many years. The past ten plus years have been particularly hard, throwing me and my family some pretty heavy curveballs - postpartum depression, losing my mother tragically to cancer, a daughter diagnosed with leukemia and then needing a bone marrow transplant, a brother shot in the line of duty, a sister who fought breast cancer, PTSD, weight fluctuations and body dysmorphia, suicidal ideation, a faith transition, an identity crisis, and then let’s top it off with a global pandemic! It has been a rough decade!
In spite of all this, I am dedicated to overcoming the hardships of life, finding ways to live and thrive with my anxiety and depression, and to try and make the world a little better and a little safer for those who also struggle like me.
I am the mother of two. I have a bright, sensitive, hilarious son - who has inherited my anxiety, and the most loving, kind, lighthearted daughter - who is now a thriving cancer survivor! She is our miracle. Motherhood hasn’t come easy for me but these two are my inspiration to be the best version of myself.
Because I want to be the best mother I can be, it is my life's mission to prioritize my mental health and I have found this calling to help and share resources for those who are fighting their own battles. My goal is to help people find emotional peace and the confidence to achieve the life they desire.
I am also driven to help those who have loved ones who are fighting. I want to to help them learn how to offer compassion and support without judgement. It is important that everyone understands what it is like to struggle with mental health, so we can be there for each other when we need it most.
I LOVE life, I LOVE people! My mental battles are just a small part of me but they have helped shape me into the person I am today. For that I am extremely grateful!
This is my mental health journey and I am not only going to live with it, but thrive with it.

Rituals help us find a focal point from daily distractions, gives familiarity and comfort, and creates healthy daily habits. I found a proven strategy that has worked for me by adding simple daily practices that help me feel accomplished and productive.

Connection with the self and others is essential to my wellbeing!
Take the time to connect with yourself and with your inner knowing. What works for me is through music, yoga, creating, meditating, and sitting in silence, feeling grounded.
But as much as I need time for myself, I also need connection. We can't get through this life alone and we weren't made to. Walking and connecting with a friend does so much for our mental and emotional health!
Exercise has become my medicine and my therapy!
I found a proven strategy that turned my daily runs and exercise from something to dread to something I look forward to!
